Sarah Beth Hall is a scenic designer and artist for theatre and opera. She is based in the greater DC area, where she is currently pursuing her MFA in Scenic Design from the University of Maryland.

Sarah Beth most recently spent four years at the Know Theatre of Cincinnati as the Design and Production Associate, where she scenic designed, associate scenic designed, painted, and prop mastered the Know’s productions. During her time at the Know, Sarah Beth designed 4 world premieres, and numerous regional premieres. Some of her favorites include Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, Supertrue, and Andy’s House of [Blank]. Along with the rest of the Know staff, she also assisted with both running the theatre and in putting up the annual Cincinnati Fringe Festival, for which she was the festival’s lead graphic designer and Bar Series Manager from 2016-2018.

Aside from the Know, Sarah Beth has designed scenery for Summer Repertory Music Theatre, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, and Diogenes Theatre Company.

Sarah Beth has additionally painted at Cincinnati Opera, Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre, Maine State Music Theatre, Madcap Puppets, and Shakespeare Theatre ofNew Jersey.

Sarah Beth received her BFA in Scenic Design from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory in Music, along with a Certificate in European Studies from UC’s McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. She recently was a guest instructor at her alma mater, where she taught a section of Graphics II: Hand Drafting.
